Ingredients:

Two cans of tuna

One cup of chopped celery

One cup of grated carrot

Half a cup of chopped pickles

One cup of chopped parsley

Red pepper flakes, to taste

One tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

Four tablespoons of mayonnaise

Toasted bread, as needed

Lettuce leaves, as needed

Red bell pepper rings, as needed

 

Instructions:

Place the tuna in a bowl and break it up gently with a fork.

Add the chopped celery, grated carrot, chopped pickles, parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and mayonnaise. Mix everything well until smooth and evenly combined.

To assemble the sandwiches, lay a piece of lettuce on each slice of toast, add a ring of red bell pepper, and top with a layer of the tuna salad.

Place another slice of toast on top, press gently, and enjoy!
